Yellow Phog is located in the historic Bagley Mansion in Detroit, Michigan. It is a private, upper level location that cannot be accessed by the public.

I am currently the only artist, but welcome guests when I can. If you are an artist interested in doing a guest spot, please send an email. I'd love to have you!

Hi! I’m Melise Hill. I’m the owner and artist at Yellow Phog Studio in Detroit, Michigan. I specialize in full colour, illustrative tattooing. My work often features women’s faces and elements of nature in a style heavily influenced by the movement and composition of Art Nouveau. My background began in Fine Arts, studying painting and drawing before I began my career as a tattoo artist in 2012.
